Nothing’s So Bad That It Couldn’t Be Worse

They say there is a book in all of us, whoever “they” are! My first book will be published and launched on 31st January 2020 at The Convention Centre Dublin, and is one that I never thought I would be writing but what else can one do when diagnosed with cancer. I found it very therapeutic to write my thoughts down, and unravel why I approached my encounter with cancer the way I did.

Powerful, funny, sad and a joyous triumph of human spirit. Raymond shares his life challenges in such an intimate manner it allows you feel part of his journey.

It is a book about survival, mental health but more importantly life in its truest form. This is not a fairy tale this is the real world! I cover real issues but more importantly how we can all take a positive out of some of the most negative things that may happen to us. Life is not easy, it is not meant to be, we will all stumble and fall at some stage. It is about understanding that out of darkness light appears and ones journey is personal to them but at some level we all have similarities on our journey.

I hope you take the time to buy it and read it, but more importantly that it is of benefit to you and your loved ones. Safe journey wherever yours may be taking you and may you always realise just how much you are loved, thought of and respected. My thoughts are with you all.

Please don’t wait till someone dies to acknowledge how much they mean to you, do it while they are alive and more importantly let them know!

All profits from sales of “Nothing’s So Bad That It Couldn’t Be Worse” will go to UNICEF Ireland.

I’ve created a soundtrack to Nothing’s So Bad That It Couldn’t Be Worse on Spotify, consisting of the songs that got me through the writing. The list has been put into order by my good friend Gareth O’Callaghan.
