Raymond has a close relationship with and affinity for UNICEF, and has worked closely with UNICEF Ireland for several years in awareness and fundraising efforts.
In his role as PM Summit CEO, since the conference’s inception in 2015, it has partnered with UNICEF Ireland to support the great work they perform throughout the world. In that time €28,000 has been raised in support of their Syria appeal and other campaigns, and Raymond has committed to corporate goal of raising over €100,000 for UNICEF Ireland over the coming years.
Additionally, UNICEF Ireland has been a resident exhibitor at the PM Summit event, allowing delegates to experience for themselves what life is like for children in refugee camps through the use of virtual reality headsets.
At PM Summit 2019 Raymond launched the #1hr4unicef campaign, a new fundraiser to take place on every year on the first Monday of December. He asks his fellow project management professionals to donate one hour of their gross earnings to UNICEF Ireland. This year #1hr4unicef will fall on 9th December 2019. You can learn more about #1hr4unicef here.
100% of the profits of Raymond’s forthcoming book, “There’s Nothing So Bad That It Couldn’t Be Worse”, will go also to UNICEF Ireland.
